Technip Forms Biorefinery Partnership with French Start-up Company

Technip says it has signed a cooperation agreement with the start-up Compagnie Industrielle de la Matière Végétale (CIMV) to commercialize CIMV's technology that converts solid biomass into hydrocarbons. The hydrocarbons can be used as feedstock by the petrochemical industry. CIMV's innovative technology can contribute to the creation of a sustainable green chemistry sector based on non-edible raw materials, Technip says.
