Technip Awarded Contract for Fertilizer Project in Brazil

Technip says that, within the framework of a cooperation partnership with Haldor Topsoe, it has been awarded a contract to provide basic and front-end engineering services for Petrobras’s previously announced fertilizer complex at Uberaba in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The fertilizer complex will include a 1,500-m.t./day ammonia plant based on Haldor Topsoe technology, and utilities and offsites. The complex is scheduled to start operating in 2015.
