Süd-Chemie to Acquire BASF’s Syngas Catalysts Facility in China (update)

Süd-Chemie says it has signed an agreement to acquire BASF’s production site for synthesis gas (syngas) catalysts at Nanjing, China. The acquisition includes production facilities, intellectual property, and sales teams associated with the business which BASF acquired via its 2006 purchase of Engelhard.
