World News and Views :: Top of the News Strike at Sabic's complex in the Netherlands cuts production7:34 AM MST | February 4, 2013 | Natasha Alperowicz A strike by workers at Sabic Europe Petrochemicals’ Geleen, Netherlands, manufacturing complex has cut production, the company said on Saturday. The previously announced labor dispute has led to “a decrease in production at Sabic Europe’s Geleen plant,” the company says in a statement. The decrease in production started on 31 January “due to a proactive measure taken by the union workforce.” Talks with a union over working conditions had not yet been successful, Sabic said, adding that it did not know what impact the strike...
