States Sue to Overturn EPA’s Changes to TRI

New York and 11 other states have sued EPA for changes it made last year to the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI). New York state attorney general Andrew Cuomo (D.) says the suit seeks to restore the public’s right to information on chemical hazards, "despite the Bush administration’s best attempts to hide it."
