Solvay to offtake adiponitrile from Invista's plant in China

Solvay said today that it has an option to reserve adiponitrile (ADN) capacity from a plant planned by Invista in China. The announcement follows an agreement that settled disputes related to adiponitrile (ADN) intellectual property and technology used in Butachimie, an equally owned joint venture between Invista and Solvay.  Butachimie operates the world’s largest ADN plant based at Chalampé, France.
