Solvay to Build Epichlorohydrin Plant in China

Solvay says it is studying the construction of an epichlorohydrin production plant in the Taixing Economic Development Park at Taixing, China. The plant, which will have an initial capacity of 100,000 m.t./year, is expected to start producing in 2013 and will be based on Solvay’s Epicerol technology.
