Solvay declares force majeure on hydroquinone from Baton Rouge plant

Solvay said on Wednesday that its aroma performance business has been adversely impacted by a significant disruption in its hydroquinone (HQ) production, following an equipment failure at its Baton Rouge, LA facility.
