Solvay Builds Hydrogen Fluoride Plant in China to Serve the Photovoltaic Industry

Solvay and Sinochem Lantian, a subsidiary of the Sinochem Group, will build an electronics grade hydrogen fluoride plant for Lansol Fluorchem Co. at Quzhou, China. Lansol Fluorchem, a producer of technical grades of purified hydrogen fluoride, is a joint venture in which Zhejiang Lantian Environmental Protection Co. has 70% and Solvay 30%.
