Slow U.S. Economy Drags on Paint Producers

The slowdown in the U.S. housing and automotive industries is hurting many suppliers to the domestic paints and coatings industry, a factor that will result in further industry consolidation, say suppliers at the American Coatings (APC) Show 2008, held this week in Charlotte, NC.
