World News and Views :: Top of the News Sinopec and Zhejiang Hengyi Invest $567 Million in Caprolactam JV3:59 AM MST | December 16, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Sinopec says its Sinopec Baling (Yunxi, Hunan Province, China) subsidiary has established a joint venture company with Zhejiang Hengyi Group (Xiaoshan, Zhejiang Province, China) to manufacture caprolactam at Xiaoshan. The jv company Zhejiang Baling Hengyi Caprolactam Co. was established on December 6. Sinopec Baling and Zhejiang Hengyi are investing a total of Rmb3.6 billion ($567 million) in the project which will produce 200,000 m.t./year of caprolactam.
