Sika to acquire manufacturer of cementitious powder products in Singapore and Malaysia

Sika (Baar, Switzerland) says it has agreed to acquire LCS Optiroc (Singapore), a leading manufacturer of cementitious powder products; and its business operations in Malaysia. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. The business that Sika will acquire generates annual sales of about 24 million Swiss francs ($27 million). Sika, under the deal, is acquiring two manufacturing plants in Singapore and at Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
