Sibur's TPE plant at Voronezh reaches capacity

Sibur’s newly-commissioned styrene-butadiene thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) facility at Voronezh, Russia, reached capacity utilization, the company announced today. The facility is designed to produce 50,000 m.t/year of TPE using Taiwan Synthetic Rubber Corp.’s technology and supplying mainly the road building industry. Sibur commenced the start-up and commissioning operations at the plant on 23 May 2013. The event was attended by Russian president Vladimir Putin.
