Sibur and SolVin Break Ground on Big PVC Project in Russia

RusVinyl, an equally owned joint venture between Sibur Holding (Moscow) and SolVin, has begun construction on a previously announced integrated polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing complex at Kstovo, Nizhnii Novgorod region, Russia. Today's cornerstone laying ceremony was attended by Valery Shantsev, governor of the Nizhnii Novgorod region, Yves Leterme, the prime minister of Belgium, Guy Trouveroy, Belgium's ambassador to Russia, Dmitry Konov, president of Sibur, Christian Jourquin, chairman of Solvay, Jacques van Rijckevorsel, chairman of SolVin, Jean Louis...
