Shin-Etsu to Build Hydroxyethyl Cellulose Plant at Plaquemine

Shin-Etsu will invest $120 million to build a hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) plant at its Plaquemine, LA site, according to Louisiana Economic Development (Baton Rouge, LA). The plant is expected to produce 9,000 tons/year of HEC....
