Senate Drops Plans to Take Up Industry-Backed Climate Amendment

Senate lawmakers will not take up an industry-backed amendment aimed at delaying funding for U.S. EPA’s regulation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, suspending what many expected to be an intense legislative battle between Democrats and Republicans over climate and economic priorities.
