Sasol's Chemical Operations Show Improvement in 2010; Arya Makes Solid Contribution

Sasol Ltd. (Johannesburg) reported a 3% drop to R23.9 billion ($3.3 billion) in operating profit in the year ended 30th June 2010 on sales down 11% to R122.3 billion. The company says it has continued to progress growth opportunities, based on the group's proprietary technology. "The prompt actions taken in response to the global economic crisis, though painful, have resulted in a more efficient and effective organization," says Pat Davies CEO.
