Russian firm Metafrax acquires Dynea Austria

Metafrax (Gubakha, Russia) has acquired a 100% holding in Dynea Austria (Krems, Austria), a producer of formaldehyde and urea-formaldehyde resins, the company announced today. This follows approval from Austrian antitrust authorities. Metafrax says the deal should close in the next few days. Dynea Austria had sales of €144 million ($188 million) in 2012.   In March Dynea announced that it had agreed to sell Dynea Austria, including Dynea Holding, Dynea Austria and Krems Chemie Service, to Cyprus-based Arirang Holdings, an associate company of Metafrax...
