Rohm and Haas to Eliminate 900 Jobs

The company, which is in the process of being acquired by Dow Chemical, will eliminate 6% of its workforce, citing the slowing economy and widespread market weakness. The company also reported that it expects adjusted earnings from continuing operations for fourth-quarter of 2008 to exceed the current analyst consensus estimate of 62 cts/share as reported by Thomson Reuters....
