Rockwood's Earnings Up on Improved Selling Prices

Rockwood Holdings reported third-quarter net income up 46%, to $84.7 million ($1.06/share), excluding special charges, on sales up 17%, to $941 million. Net income including special charges was $75.9 million (95 cts/share). Adjusted Ebitda rose 41%, to $227 million. Higher selling prices helped to lift profits, Rockwood says....
