World News and Views :: Top of the News Rhodia to Double Fluorinated Derivatives Capacity in France, China9:18 AM MDT | July 31, 2012 | Sotirios Frantzanas Rhodia, a Solvay subsidiary, says it is doubling the capacity of its entire production pipeline for specialty fluorinated aliphatic derivatives at Salindres, France, and in China. The investment will specifically boost production capacity for triflic acid and anhydride, as well as for lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (LiTSFI), to meet growing demands for specialty fluorinated derivatives from the electronics, battery, and pharmaceutical markets.
