Tesla chooses Nevada for $5-billion gigafactory

Electric vehicle maker Tesla Motors has chosen Nevada as the site of its planned $5-billion battery manufacturing facility. The 'Gigafactory' is expected to be produce 50 GWh in annual batter production by 2020--enough for 500,000 Tesla cars.
