Qatar sets up entity to take over chemicals marketing and distribution

Qatar has set up a company that will maintain exclusive rights to purchase, market, distribute, and sell all specified regulated chemical and petrochemical products produced in Qatar, officials say. Until now, Qatar had had marketing arrangements with their joint venture partners, such as Total and Chevron Phillips Chemical, for selling their products, says IHS Chemical.
