World News and Views :: Top of the News PwC Unit to Acquire BearingPoint’s Operations in Japan.10:07 AM MDT | April 13, 2009 | Esther D'Amico Management and IT consulting firm BearingPoint says it has agreed to sell its Japan operation to PwC Advisory (PwC Japan), a PricewaterhouseCooper firm operating in Japan. BearingPoint says it expects to generate about $45 million in cash connected with the transaction—or about $38.4 million in cash for the divested shares, and $6.7 million in cash from a repayment of intercompany charges owed by BearingPoint Japan to BearingPoint—subject to adjustments and closing conditions.
