World News and Views :: Top of the News Private Equity Shareholders Exit Brenntag10:47 AM MDT | July 11, 2012 | Ian Young Brachem Acquisition SCA, the biggest shareholder in Brenntag, has sold all of its Brenntag shares and has exited the company. Brachem controlled Brenntag shares on behalf of private equity firms BC Partners, Bain Capital, and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners. Brachem placed 6.9 million Brenntag shares with institutional investors in an accelerated bookbuilding process, at a price of €89 ($109.47)/share.
