Private Equity Firm: Chemical Stocks Overvalued, Unspent Capital Will Be Put to Use

The recent climb in values in chemicals sector stocks is not sustainable, Thomas Kichler, managing director at One Equity Partners (One Equity; Chicago), told an audience at Societe de Chimie Industrielle meeting in New York this week. As equity markets have risen, forward earnings in the sector have declined, and eventually the former will fall in line with the latter, Kichler says.
