Praxair to Supply Gases to Chemical Complex at Chongqing, China

Praxair China Investment (Shanghai), a Praxair subsidiary, says it has formed a joint venture with Chongqing Chemical and Pharmaceutical Holding Group Company (CCPHC; Chongqing, China) to supply oxygen, nitrogen and clean dry air to a major integrated chemical production complex in the Chongqing (Changshou) Chemical Industrial Park at Chongqing. As part of a 60-40 jv, Praxair will build and operate two air separation units (ASUs) with total capacity of 5,000 m.t./day of gaseous oxygen.
