Polish Firm Pulawy Makes Offer to Buy Anwil from PKN Orlen

Zaklady Azotowe Pulawy (ZAP; Pulawy, Poland), the leading maker of fertilizers in Poland and one of the world's leading producers of melamine, has made a conditional offer to PKN Orlen (Plock, Poland) to acquire a majority stake in Anwil SA (Wloclawek, Poland), PKN Orlen's subsidiary specializing in the production of fertilizers, chlor-alkalis and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
