Petronas Chemicals reports outage at cracker and downstream facilities

Petronas Chemicals (Kuala Lumpur) says that on 6 December it experienced an interruption in the supply of utilities, which affected production at the company’s main cracker and its related downstream facilities as well as its aromatics and ammonia plants. The group has taken immediate steps to minimize the impact and expects to resume production this week.   The company’s olefins and derivatives complex is located at Kertih.
