Petromont Suspends Petrochemical Operations

Petromont (Montreal), a 50-50 joint venture between Dow Chemical and an arm of the Quebec government, says that on April 30 it will suspend production at its 300,000 m.t./year petrochemical cracker at Varennes, PQ and its 300,000 m.t./year polyethylene resins plant at Montreal.
