World News and Views :: Top of the News Pemex Takes Bids for Work on Cangrejera Expansion9:43 AM MDT | May 20, 2009 | Kara Sissell Petróloes Mexicanos (Pemex) says it has received bids for work it needs done to modernize Pemex Petroquimica’s aromatics production at the Cangrejera complex at Cosoleacaque, Mexico. Pemex plans to double paraxylene production at Cangrejera by 2012. Companies submitting bids include a consortium lead by OHL Industrial, ICA Flour Daniel, Operadora Cisca with SNC-Lavalin, and Tecnimont Mexico. The bids are for the first phase of work Pemex Petroquímica needs done at the complex, which involves construction of a continuous catalytic regenerator...
