World News and Views :: Top of the News PTT submits proposal for large refinery and aromatics complex in Vietnam11:07 AM MST | November 28, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz PTT (Bangkok) has submitted a prefeasibility study for a refinery and aromatics complex in Vietnam, and the company is seeking potential joint venture partners for the project, which is estimated to cost close to $29 billion. The refinery would have throughput of 660,000 bbl/day and would be built in the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone in coastal Binh Dinh Province. Construction would begin in 2016 with a possible completion in 2019.
