PTT submits proposal for large refinery and aromatics complex in Vietnam

PTT (Bangkok) has submitted a prefeasibility study for a refinery and aromatics complex in Vietnam, and the company is seeking potential joint venture partners for the project, which is estimated to cost close to $29 billion. The refinery would have throughput of 660,000 bbl/day and would be built in the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone in coastal Binh Dinh Province.
