PPG's Earnings Soar on Strong Demand

PPG’s third-quarter sales and earnings rose on higher volumes. Overall sales volume grew by 6%, mostly led by emerging markets, says chairman and CEO Charles Bunch. Cost cutting measures across the company, and higher selling prices within some of the businesses also helped to improve profits, PPG says.
