PPG to Acquire Bodyshop Distributor

PPG says it has entered into an agreement to purchase Unipart Automotive's (Oxford, U.K.) bodyshop distribution business for an undisclosed sum. PPG expects the deal to close on January 31, 2008. The acquisition will include 34 distribution facilities which supply refinish paint to body shops. PPG says it will operate the new business as a subsidiary under the name Brown Brothers...
