PPG Industries Earnings Rebound on Strong Volumes

PPG Industries reported second-quarter net income of $272 million, an 86% increase from the year-ago quarter. Reported earnings of $1.64/share beat analyst forecasts of $1.43/share, and were up 84% from the year-ago quarter. Sales increased 11% to $3.5 billion....
