He will report directly to Ian Smith, Orica’s managing director and CEO. The appointment is effective October 2012. Orica also announced the appointment of Sean Winstone to the role of manufacturing executive. He will be responsible for the manufacturing processes—ammonium nitrate, sodium cyanide, and chlorine plants within Orica—and will report to the global head of manufacturing.
