World News and Views :: Top of the News Omnova’s Q4 Profits Improve12:13 PM MST | January 15, 2008 | CW Editorial Staff Omnova Solutions reported fourth-quarter income from continuing operations of $3.4 million, compared to a loss from continuing operations of $700,000 in the fourth quarter of 2006. Sales rose 11%, to $195.9 million. Omnova’s performance chemicals business posted a slight decline in operating profits due to higher raw material costs. Sales rose 13.6%, however, to $126.4 million, on volume growth and favorable currency exchange.
