Odebrecht's Ascent cracker project negotiates remediation agreement with WVDEP

Odebrecht’s (Salvador, Brazil) Appalachian Shale Cracker Enterprise (Ascent) steam cracker project continues to move forward with the acceptance of its voluntary remediation application by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Policy (WVDEP). The agency says its office of environmental remediation and Ascent are currently negotiating an agreement for the identification of health and ecological risks associated with current and potential future uses of the site and the establishment remediation standards....
