Obama Schedules International Energy and Climate Talks

President Obama’s staff says the U.S. has organized meetings with the European Union and other countries for discussing energy and climate change initiatives, with the first slated to take place in Washington April 27-28. Participants in the talks, called the Major Economies Meetings on Energy Security and Climate Change, will meet a second time in July in Maddalena, Italy.
