Novozymes' second-quarter net income up 13%

Novozymes achieved second-quarter net profit of 556 million Danish krone ($99.6 million), up 13% year-on-year (YOY), the company announced today. Net profit was up by 7% during the first six months of the year, to DK1.07 billion. Ebitda was also up during the second quarter, to DK926 million, 9% higher than one year earlier. Sales increased by 6% during the three-month period, to DK3.02 billion from DK2.85 billion the year before.
