Nizhnekamsk Signs Contracts with Lummus and Linde for Petchems Projects in Russia

  Nizhnekamskneftekhim (Nizhnekamsk, Russia), one of the largest petchems producers in Russia, has selected the Lummus ethylene and Linde alpha olefins processes for a major petchems project in Russia. The company said on Saturday that it had signed a licensing agreement with Lummus Technology Heat Transfer, a Lummus subsidiary, to carry out basic engineering for a 1-million m.t./year ethylene plant. The deal was signed by Vladimir M. Busygin, general director of Nizhnekamskneftekhim and M. Bassem Tolba, president of Lummus Technology Heat Transfer.  ...
