World News and Views :: Top of the News Nippon Gohsei expands EVOH capacity in US; Toyo Engineering awarded contract7:37 AM MDT | March 19, 2013 | Deepti Ramesh Toyo Engineering (Narashino, Japan) says that it has been awarded a contract by Noltex (La Porte, TX), a subsidiary of Nippon Synthetic Chemical Industry Co. (Nippon Gohsei; Osaka), to construct an ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer manufacturing plant with a capacity of 15,000 m.t./year at La Porte. Toyo has been awarded a turnkey contract for detailed engineering, procurement, and construction of the project.
