World News and Views :: Top of the News Nagarjuna Fertilizers proceeds with urea project at Kakinada, India2:05 PM MST | January 16, 2013 | Natasha Alperowicz A number of Indian producers have announced that they are going ahead with plans to build urea production facilities, following the Indian government’s approval of an urea investment policy to encourage companies to build new units and expand existing ones. Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals (Hyderabad, India) is going ahead with previously announced plans to spend Rs45 billion ($825.7 million) to build a plant at Kakinada.
