NRDC: Industry Tactics Delayed Health Assessments for Decades

The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC: Washington) has released a report  detailing what it says are decades of industry influence used to delay toxicity findings for three substances: trichloroethylene, (TCE), formaldehyde, and styrene. The report examines “industry’s role in preventing EPA from reaching conclusions about the toxicity and human health risks of hazardous chemicals,” NRDC says.
