Monsanto Announces Field Trials for New Integrated Farming Systems Platform

Monsanto announced today that field trials of its first Integrated Farming Systems (IFS) platform will begin in 2013. The platform, dubbed FieldScripts,  leverages planting technology included in its recent acquisition of Precision Planting. The first commercial launch is planned for the 2014 growing season in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, and Minnesota.
