Momentive and Zhejiang Xinan to Expand Siloxanes JV in China

Momentive Performance Materials and Zhejiang Xinan Chemical Industrial Group, a provider of agchems and silicone materials, plan to invest a total of $65 million to expand the manufacturing capacity of their joint venture in Jiande, China. The jv plant, which currently has production capacity of about 50,000 m.t./year of siloxane, started its first phase of operations in fourth-quarter of 2010.
