World News and Views :: Top of the News Mitsui Chemicals Hikes PP Composites Capacity in North America7:16 AM MDT | July 11, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz Mitsui Chemicals and its subsidiary Prime Polymer (Tokyo) have announced plans to hike capacity for polypropylene (PP) composites for automotive applications at their U.S. and Mexico-based operations. The companies plan to add a new line in each of the countries taking the total in the U.S. to 226,000 m.t./year of PP compounds and in Mexico to 45,000 m.t./year.
