Mitsubishi Chemical to license oxo-alcohol technology to Qatar Petroleum-Shell jv

Mitsubishi Chemical has reached an agreement with Shell Chemicals for the licensing of Mitsubishi's oxo-alcohols production technology at the Al-Karaana Petrochemicals complex at Ras Laffan, Qatar—a joint venture with 20% and 80% stakes held by Shell Chemicals and Qatar Petroleum (Doha), respectively.
