Merck KGaA Acquires Chinese Biotech Firm

Merck KGaA says it has acquired Beijing Skywing Technology (Beijing), a leading supplier of cell-culture media products, related technical services and bioreactors for the biopharmaceutical industry in China, for a purchase price of Rmb120 million ($18 million). The company employs about 80 people.
