Malaysian firms to build Southeast Asia's first integrated phosphate complex

Cahya Mata Sarawak (CMS; Kuching, Malaysia) through its Samalaju Industries subsidiary, has concluded a joint venture agreement with Malaysian Phosphate Venture and Arif Enigma to build a 1.04-billion Malaysian ringgit ($318.6 million) integrated phosphate complex, the company has announced. The complex will be built in the Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu, within the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy.
